How To Be Blessed
Since I believe I am blessed, I’ll give you a list of tips on how to be blessed too, but the truth is, you don’t need me to tell you how to be blessed or how to find blessings. They are already there. They are everywhere. They came the day you arrived in life, and since then, you’ve been giving them to people like me. That’s why you’re blessed. Don’t you see? The blessing of you is an eternal thing that you’ll leave behind when your body dies, and in the end you’ll take them with you to the other side too, where there will be even more blessings than you ever dreamed could be possible for an ordinary human being. BLESSED LIVES: DEFINED
Blessings show up every day in so many ways. In fact, I was blessed again just the other day when a rainbow formed so vividly in the sky that it took my breath away. It was as if the rainbow was God’s way to say, “More blessings are on the way.”
Why would I think of this as a blessing and a sign of miraculous things to come? The reason the rainbow was a blessing for me is due to the fact that I’m blind, but only legally. You see, because I lost my sight, I’ve been blessed with insight. No longer distracted by what blinded me, I’ve learned how to see through God’s vision for me. That’s why today, I can honestly say that even my lost sight or your hard times in life can be blessings in disguise. It’s all about the way we see, perceive and believe. That’s exactly what a blessed life brings and what a blessing means.
HOW TO BE BLESSED:
1. Look through God’s vision for you.
God created you and I in his image. It’s true. This means we are His children and we’ve inherited the right to a blessed life. It’s only when we choose to blind ourselves to the reality that we arrive on the scene already blessed as we can be that keeps us from seeing our God given gifts that are scattered here, there and everywhere. If you choose to look through God’s vision for you, you will see that you are worthy to receive your God given blessings.
2. Just ask and believe faithfully to receive.
Don’t be like the guy who died and arrived at heaven’s gate clueless as to what God had stored for him until his earthly life came to an end. Only then did he finally see the reality that God wanted more for him than he ever believed he was worthy to ask for, much less to receive.
When he got there, Peter let him in. “Do you want to look around,” Peter asked? The guy complied and followed Peter to a room where the guy’s name was engraved in bold gold on its door. Peter opened it slowly while the guy stood by, and when he saw the treasures inside the room, the guy couldn’t believe was he was seeing. “Oh my,” the guy exclaimed!
Everything he ever wanted in his life was right there inside that room, so the guy wondered why Peter would be so cruel to reveal the truth so late in the game. “Why did I never receive these blessings in my life,” the guy asked? Peter pat his head and said, ” Because you never asked.”
When we learn to believe we are worthy, we will see that all we need to do to be blessed is to ask and believe faithfully that God will do what he promised He’d do. It’s exactly what God said we should do. “Ask and believe faithfully and you shall receive.” It must be true if that’s what God told us to do.
It seems to be a human thing to forget God’s promises, but He keeps them anyway as He waits for the day when we finally find faith, which leads me to tip number three.
3. Look for the blessing in disguise behind every hard time.
It seems to me that If I can see the blessing in disguise of my lost sight, then we can safely assume you can see the blessings in disguise from all your hard times too. Sometimes the blessings are hidden behind lies and the way we deny the reality that what we think and believe becomes our destiny. That’s why we are always as blessed as we can possibly be, depending upon what we think and choose to believe. Due to my lost sight, today I can honestly say that I once was blind but now I see through a new and improved vision of reality for me. I hope and pray you do too, because you see, the gifts are there. They are everywhere. Just open your eyes and see.
4. Look through a view of gratitude.
The demise of wise vision can come from our negative way of thinking that attracts us to negative people, things and happenings. It’s our thoughts that keep us from seeing the light of truth that when it comes to luck, there’s no such stuff. God gave us a will that’s free to choose what we think, say and do, so when we choose to see through an attitude of gratitude, we find blessings left behind what might have been the demise of our life otherwise. We begin to see the truth that looking through a view of gratitude tends to bring us more to be grateful for. The key will always be to see the gift and be grateful for it, whatever it is. Say, “Thanks,” every day and in every way to see the blessings surrounding you and your life. Look through wise eyes.
5. To be blessed, bless someone else.
Because it’s true that God is king of heaven, earth and the universe, and since we are His children, that means that we all come from one source. The source is God of course, so as unique and individual humans, we are all a part of one being. That’s why we call ourselves, “Human Beings.” That’s also why when I bless you, the blessing blesses me too. When you bless me, it evolves through you to me to humanity, and then, the blessing comes back to you again. It’s God’s law of attraction and it’s always in action, so how many hard times do we have to survive before we begin to see the reality that we are never victimized? We are blessed with the best of everything heaven, earth and the universe has to offer, but we don’t see the truth until we give and receive to and from other human beings.
I’ve come to believe that once God created us, He gave us a few tools and some universal rules. After that, He gave us a free will and sends us on our way. As we go through the universal flow, God waits to see if we find faith. Hopefully we release all doubt, so that we can finally figure it out. What goes up must come down is the law of gravity which God created for human beings so that we won’t be flying high in the sky all the time where clouds hide our eyes from seeing the truth. What I give to you must come back to me. It’s a law of attraction thing. What you do affects me and what I do affects you too, so we find that what goes around comes around. That’s why a blessed life is derived from the blessings we choose to provide.
To Conclude:
Do you see? You can choose to wait until you arrive at that pearly gate to find treasures beyond measure and finally see that God wants you to have more than you ever dreamed to ask for, or you can use the key of faith to ask and receive what God has stored away for you today. To be blessed, abundantly and beyond your dreams, just keep abundance in mind at all times. The golden key to be blessed is to see the gifts in your life, through the vision of wisdom that says, “You are blessed.”
