IN DEFENSE OF THE PRESIDENT
“Collective fear stimulates a herd instinct and tends to produce ferocity toward those who are not regarded as members of the herd.” Bernard Russell
In other words, the only thing a herd will ever produce is a bunch of bull s#$!. It’s true. When it comes to people who communicate what they debate through a view of fear based hate, it creates a herd mentality, and here in the Lone Stat State, we all know that herds are easily spooked. All you have to do is to say, “BOO,” and they’ll scream and stampede all over you. They look like a bunch of republicans to me. Coming from the Lone Star State, I can honestly say that if it looks, sounds and smells like BS, then that’s exactly what it is, so don’t step in it.
Then again, I don’t know what it is about me that makes me feel the need to defend the President of the United States, for heaven’s sake. It’s not that he depends on me, personally, to defend him. It’s not that I believe it’s something I have the power to do. Besides, no one listens to what I say in the first place, so why do I defend him in documented print all the time? But hey, by the way, please don’t answer that question for me. I know how you republicans can be. You think you’ve got the answer to everything, but let’s just agree to disagree for a moment please. Just let me document in print what I think, so I can vent through this insanity.
Yes, I know. It’s stupid to defend against what a whole herd can do when they are spooked, so I don’t know why I try. I didn’t used to do such things. In fact, even though the past President came from my home state, the only time I found the need to defend Bush at all was when people made fun of his Texas drawl. After all, where I come from we all use the phrase, “ya’ll.” Still, I suppose you could say that the fact remains that as of today, ya’ll have all gone insane and it makes me feel the need to defend the President of these divided United States. It’s not just YOUR herd, for heaven’s sake! Today, no one can take a joke, so what’s the deal with all those bitter old souls, not to mention all that bull poop people produce?
Everyone rants and raves all day when it comes to the President of the United States, and the fact remains, it’s driving us all insane. It’s all those monsters in our minds that bites our society’s behind all the time, and it makes us look nuts. Our democracy has become one big hypocrisy where we hide behind lies and make ridiculous claims, as if we are all insane. In fact, the other day I heard a crazy person say that the President of the United States was not a US citizen at all, and that in fact, some of his best friends were bad guys who want to attack the USA so that we can all be Muslim communists some day. Did they forget the republican who tore down that wall? As of today, there’s no wall at all, but they act as if rumors are based on truth, as if what they read online could not possibly be a lie. They think that what FOX news tells you is true, and if a talk show host boasts about what he knows, they think they know it all too. Here’s the truth: You all look like fools who have gone off the deep end into a dark lonely hole, like a Twilight Zone of your own.
So, the only thing I know to say in reply to people who behave in insane ways is to raise my hands in defense when I say this: ” Hey, hey, Okay, whatever you say.” That’s what I always say to people who rant and rave with a wild look on their face. Otherwise, they might go completely nuts, get spooked and stampede too.
Needless to say, politics can make us sick in the head, and like I said, I’m weary of fear based debates. Even so, every day I still find the need to say, “Get a grip and get over it for heaven’s sake”
What happened to all that hope and faith? Have ya’ll all lost your minds or am I the only one who remains insane, just because I chose to hold onto hope and faith in and with the President of the United States? I’m not sure anyone knows the truth, or just who is insane, me or you. You see, we have all behaved in ways that say, “Everyone in the United States has gone insane.”
Besides, as we lose our minds, the rest of the world stands by. In fact, the countries who hate our guts so much are watching us rant and rave all day and half the night from a satellite as they say, “Ya’ll are all full of BS in the USA.” Then again, they may also say, “I told you so,” someday. But anyway, that’s it. I’ve stated my case. I’m done with defending the President, at least for today.
