WHEN THE PRESIDENT MAKES AN ADDRESS TO CONGRESS AND THE ART OF PUBLIC SPEAKING
Did any of you listen to Obama’s speech last night? Did it relieve your worry and fright? If not, why?
Say what you will, but we can all agree that the guy knows how to make a speech that out wits those who choose to use free speech as an excuse to be rude. He’s got the art of public speaking down pat, and in fact, even people like me can understand every word that is heard, but what some people shout out from across a crowded room seem to confuse the truth.
In fact, it looked to me like Obama got his mojo back and I’m legally blind! In fact, his mojo came back right in the nick of time for me, personally, and the rest of the country. I’d just about lost all hope and all my blind faith, so I was thinking I’d go to Mexico where I’d become an illegal alien in a place where the people are kind, happy all the time and find peace of mind no matter how nuts the government becomes.
Then again when I heard that wise guy shout out, “You Lie,” to the President of the United States, my hope became disgraced and almost faded away, so my mind went back to a place where every day is just another day in Paradise, (in the Mexican Caribbean, by the way).
Why do people abuse their right to freely say what they think in a rude, crude and socially unacceptable way? That’s a big mistake, because you see, the more rude, crude and socially unacceptable people get, the more Obama looks wise and upright to me. In the mean time, the rude, crude and socially unacceptable guy who shouted out a lie looks like an idiot who’s too stupid to see that no one listens to those who abuse someone else’s right to freely speak.
In fact, in spite of the fact that is seems every human being living within the USA has gone completely insane, Obama’s speech was the only thing that makes any sense to me. and as of today, he seems to be the only human being who is able to maintain any dignity, pride, hope and/or faith in and within the USA.
That’s why I’d advise you to listen to him sometimes. Just go out on a limb and consider assuming respect for him, at least when he speaks. Besides, he just might NOT be the “Anti-Christ,” after all! Stranger things have happened than a black man with an Arabic sounding name becoming the saving grace of the United States, right here in a place where democracy makes people mean, rude, crude and socially unacceptable too.
You are right. Obama is a great reader and speaker, mainly because of his mastery of the teleprompter. I still have concerns about how he continues to fool the public into believing that he is going to add 46 million into a system and its not going to cost us “one dime”. Also the claim that it will not add to the deficit…not one dime. And claiming that taxes will not be raised on the middle class. All those claims have been debunked by the CBO (www.cbo.gov).
As for the shoutout against Obama’s claims…I would have shouted to. The Congressional Research Services said this about the illegal immigrants issue: “Under H.R. 3200, a ‘Health Insurance Exchange’ would begin operation in 2013 and would offer private plans alongside a public option…H.R. 3200 does not contain any restrictions on noncitzens—whether legally or illegally present, or in the United States temporarily or permanently—participating in the Exchange.”

HR 3200 does state, “Nothing in this subtitle shall allow Federal payments for affordability credits on behalf of individuals who are not lawfully present in the United States.” That would seem to solve the problem, but it’s more rhetoric than reality.
The bill contains no verification requirement or enforcement process for citizenship or legal residency, as exists for other federal benefit programs. The only verification required for the subsidies pertains to family income. Beyond that, as the CRS report notes, everything is left in the hands of the Health Choices Commissioner.
Obama has NO HISTORY of saving anything. How can someone put so much faith into a man with no substance?
